PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

·         Worked on the rewrite project of the company’s legacy pipeline management system. Designed the system’s framework, business logic layer modules and data access layer modules, coded those components with C#.NET

·         Worked on Sarbanes Oxley implementation project. Duties include enforcing proper process and work flow of the IT department, enhancements of network and database security, sensitive data encryption, user authentications enhancements and control documentation creation.

·         Developed a migration tool for the IT department to help enforcing proper migration process that complies with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Created user friendly interfaces with ASP.NET, coded components with C#.NET, created XML web services to retrieve commonly shared data, developed file FTP functions to upload supporting files to a central location and implemented on-demand and automated e-mail notification functions to notify SCR status to the users.

·         Developed a production support tool for the IT department to help properly track, document and report production issues that complies with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Created user friendly interfaces with ASP.NET, coded components with C#.NET, created database connectivity with ADO.NET, developed custom controls to generate Recursive report sections. The tool also supports file FTP to upload supporting documents to a central location.

·         Customized PVCS tracker application to enforce proper work flow of SCRs between IT group and commercial users group that complies with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Developed triggers, created stored procedures to execute custom validations rules, developed process to roll back data if there is any business rule violations.

·         Worked on the company’s pipeline management system development. Architected and developed Java foundation classes for the system. Developed Java Beans for reporting functionalities for the system.

·         Worked on the company’s pipeline management system’s Order 637 implementation project. Developed applications in Nomination section with Java, implemented mid-tier components with CORBA technology, and implemented backend database with SQL server.

·         Worked on the company’s pipeline management system’s Rates/Discounts rewrite project. Duties include business requirement collection, business rule analyst and coding with Java, CORBA, SQL server and Crystal Reports.

·         Developed a real-time pricing tool for an energy trading company. This messaging tool utilizes TIBCO RV, to exchanges messages with a Tibco server and refreshes a ticker on the client’s workstation. Implemented the sending and receiving components in with Java remoting, developed web interfaces with JSP.

·         Created a web site for a computer retailer company. Built the backend Oracle database, designed data relations, created tables, indexes and stored procedures, converted data from custom database to Oracle, and built web pages with JSP and JDBC.

·         Developed a web based white page application for a shipping company. Built tables, indexes and queries of the database in Oracles 8 environment, Developed web interfaces using JSP and JDBC, coded Java Script functions to perform client side validations.

 

PDQ.NET / Web Programmer / Mar. 1999 ~ Aug.2000

·         Constructed an E-commerce web site for a medical products distribution company. Developed web pages in ASP and Java Script. This web application uses ADO objects and Recordsets to query on a SQL Server database. It supports on line registration, customer profile management, purchasing, inventory transfer and E-mail auto response.

·         Constructed a web site for a theatre. Developed ASP pages and built databases in MS Access. The site enables the theatre management to edit basic information or upload files, the web server dynamically generates pages on a predetermined schedule.

·         Constructed a web site for an educational institute. Developed ASP pages that query the SQL Server  database. The site supports on-line registration, random user name and password generation, login validation and invokes COM objects to bring third party applications.

·         Developed a remote account registration application for an internet service provider. Built user interfaces with Perl, constructed backend database with SQL server. This application runs on a Softcast server, it enables customers to register new accounts through TCP/IP connection.

·         Developed a singles' club web site, tasks included user interface design, writing PERL/CGI scripts to implement Perl database management, text file to HTML parsing, WEB E-mail and chatting functions.

·         Team member responsible for building a customer care system for an Internet Service Provider. Developed Cold Fusion applications to implement service purchasing, account information editing, activity tracking, automated billing and security management. Developed stored procedures with SQL Server database, developed Java Script to perform client side validation and URL redirection.

·         Developed a Pipe Sales and Inventory Management System in MS Access. Wrote applications for customer contact information management, inventory management and sales order processing.

·         Implemented an Equipment Leasing and Tracking application, responsibilities include detailed design of the database, GUI design using Access tools and coding the application with VBA.

·         Programmed a database security application, responsibilities include developing the GUI and coding   the application with VBA. The application can be applied for various Access databases.
